Senior Data Scientist Customer Due Diligence

Rabobank’s Customer Due Diligence team is at the forefront of preventing financial and economic crime. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will make a measurable impact by developing and improving models that help protect our 9.5 million customers worldwide. 

You & Your Job

As a Senior Data Scientist you leverage advanced analytics techniques to develop modelling solutions, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary squads across IT, Architecture, and Business. Beyond technical expertise, you foster a culture of continuous learning, mentor junior colleagues, and ensure consistency in best practices. Additionally, you are part of the larger Advanced Analytics Community within Rabobank where you can both leverage existing knowledge and actively contribute to accelerating learning and development. You join an area of 17 multidisciplinary squads and become part of a squad of ambitious and driven professionals.

• Develop, implement, and monitor Customer Due Diligence (CDD) models together with cross-functional partners.

You & Your Talent

• 5+ years of experience in advanced analytics and modelling, ideally with large data sets. 
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and Spark. Experience with Azure Databricks is a plus. 
• Academic degree (MSc / PhD) in Data Science, Econometrics, Mathematics, Engineering (or equivalent). 
• Excellent verbal and communication skills in English. 
• Pro-active, customer-centric and can-do mentality to make difference in fighting economic crime. 
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively. 
• Thrive in a high-impact, dynamic and high-paced environment (experience with Agile working is a plus). 

This is what we offer you

• Salary: Gross monthly salary between EUR 5,876 and EUR 8,395 (scale 10) for a 36-hour work week.
• Extras: a thirteenth month, 8% holiday allowance, and a 10% Employee Benefit Budget.
• Development budget: EUR 1,400 development budget per year for your growth and development.
